And hot damn am I excited about it!
I guess extension talks with Alex Smith have stalled recently, so this pick isn’t really surprising. The fact that Murray dropped to the Chiefs is awesome, though. You have to think that his stalk would’ve been MUCH higher had he not torn his ACL late last season.
It’s a good project for Andy Reid, too.
Reid is a known QB developer. This gives him the chance to bring Murray along in the offense slowly while the QB continues to heal from last season’s injury.
This could be a big time pick for KC and I’m pumped!
